Geography Education, Certificate

The Undergraduate Certificate in Geography Education is designed for students seeking to enhance their understanding of geographic concepts and develop skills for teaching geography at the K–12 level. This certificate provides foundational knowledge in physical and human geography, geographic technologies, and pedagogical strategies aligned with national standards. 

Program Objectives:

• Develop a strong foundation in geographic principles and spatial thinking.
• Gain proficiency in geographic information systems (GIS) and other geospatial technologies.
