Admission Requirements
Prospective students who wish to apply for admission to the Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry program must meet the general admission requirements for Marshall University.
Students in the music management emphasis are not required to audition on an instrument or in voice unless they wish to enroll in lessons in applied music. Students wanting to enroll in applied music should contact the area coordinator for information regarding audition materials and procedures.
Graduation Requirements
Minimum Grade Standard
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Theatre are required to majors must complete all work in the in the major with a minimum grade of of C. Course grades of A student who receives aD and or anF are not counted toward graduation requirements in a theatre course must repeat it and must be replaced with a grade of earn at least aC or better before graduation or graduation or before using that course as a prerequisite.
Students must earn at least 120 credithours.Candidates for graduation must have a Grade Point Average of 2.0 or higher in all work attempted at Marshall University.
Upper Division Credit Hours
A minimum of thirty-nine Thirty-nine (39) credit hours must be earned in courses numbered 300-499.
Minimum Credit Hours
Students must earn at least 120 credit hours. No courses course in the college and major requirements for graduation may be taken Credit/Non-Credit unless the course is so specified.
