This course develops an understanding of normal physiology, genetics, microbiology, pathology and pathophysiologic concepts of disease per organ system. Knowledge will be applied in subsequent semesters.

This course encompasses a comprehensive approach to the study of gross anatomy while incorporating appropriate clinical application to basic organization, structure, sectional, and surface anatomy.
