Graphic Design, Emphasis

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art with an Emphasis in Graphic Design

Graphic Design students at Marshall University are immersed in creating visual solutions for their communities and their clients, from the tiniest details to the biggest ideas. In a supportive studio environment, design students explore the ever widening reaches of the industry. From traditional print design to experimental digital experiences (and everywhere in between), students work on a wide range of graphic design projects that combine artistic and strategic communication skills. Our program prepares students to pursue creative careers in graphic design, branding, media, advertising, marketing, digital design, and many emerging fields. To experience real-world collaboration in action, students also apprentice on campus, at the student-run agency, or with local businesses and organizations.
