WebsiteThe Marshall University School of Nursing offers multiple pathways to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), including the traditional pre-licensure BSN program, the accelerated BA/BS to BSN program for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree in another field, and the RN to BSN program for licensed registered nurses seeking to advance their education. These programs prepare students for professional nursing practice and continued career advancement.
The pre-licensure BSN program combines classroom instruction, simulation, laboratory experiences, and clinical practice in a variety of healthcare settings. The accelerated BA/BS to BSN program provides a fast-track option that can be completed in 16 months of full-time study. The RN to BSN program offers a flexible pathway for registered nurses to build upon their existing knowledge and skills while enhancing leadership, evidence-based practice, and professional development competencies. Through rigorous coursework and diverse learning experiences, all BSN pathways support the development of safe, evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care.
