The primary objective of this elective will be for a student to obtain hands-on, intensive, and well-supervised experience in the management of end-of-life situations involving patients, family members and other health care providers. Fourth year elective with the Clinical Director of a 90-bed psychiatric facility to acquaint student with clinical/ administrative issues, creative problem solving and strategic plans. Clinical course to allow students to complete clinical training at approved sites within the State of West Virginia that is no a MUSOM site.
