Minor in Journalism
The Journalism minor is designed for students who seek to develop a strong foundation in the principles and practices of journalism, enhancing their communication skills and media literacy. This minor provides an introduction to the skills and technologies of storytelling, including the use of Adobe software to produce and distribute engaging stories. The Journalism minor is beneficial to students who want to develop their interviewing, reporting, editing and writing skills. Students learn to produce content for traditional print, broadcast, and digital formats, including online and social media.
