M.S.W. Advanced Standing Behavioral Health Administration - Online Only Program

The Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) “Online Only” Program is offered only to those students admitted to Advanced Standing status. The Online Only M.S.W. program requires the completion of 36 academic credit hours and is offered ONLY ONLINE. Students will not be allowed to take any other face to face or hybrid courses (although they will be allowed to take online and some hybrid electives which will be discussed between the student and the student's advisor. This program option is designed for students entering the M.S.W. program who have a Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) degree and meet the requirements for Advanced Standing status. The program will consist of the advanced content (36 credit hours). Those Advanced Standing status students admitted to the M.S.W. Online Only program option require the completion of 36 academic credit hours which includes 9 credit hours of field education. The Advanced Standing program is for students entering the M.S.W. Program with a B.S.W. degree and who meet specific GPA requirements.

An applicant for admission to the Master of Social Work program who holds a baccalaureate degree from an undergraduate social work program accredited by the Council of Social Work Education may be admitted with advanced standing status.
