Bachelor of Arts in Music with an Emphasis in General Studies

With the help of their academic advisor, students build their own curriculum using courses in music and outside of music to create a unique degree. Students prepare for alternative careers such as music therapy or music journalism.

Course Requirements

Students may select any 14-16 credit hours of music courses to complete this emphasis area. A minimum of 40 credit hours, out of the minimum 120 required for completion of this degree, must be at the 300 or 400 level.
